Refunds and Returns Policy

Your story deserves to be told perfectly — and so does your experience with us. At Map of Our Story, we stand behind every personalized map we create. We’ve designed our return process to be as simple and stress-free as the memories you’re celebrating.


Returns & Exchanges

Orders can be returned or exchanged within 60 days of delivery. To make things as easy as possible, we include a free prepaid return label in every package.


Damaged, Wrong Item, or Change of Mind?

Whether your map arrived damaged, misprinted, or you simply changed your mind — we’ve got you covered with a 100% hassle-free return policy:

  1. Use the free prepaid return label found inside your original packaging.
  2. Can’t find your label? Email us at hello@mapofourstory.com with your order number and we’ll send a digital copy immediately.
  3. Choose between a full refund or a free replacement — whichever you prefer.

Shipping & Fees

  • No restocking fees: We never charge fees for processing your return.
  • Free return shipping: Return shipping is always on us, regardless of the reason.
  • Product condition: We accept returns for items in new, unused condition.

Refund Process

Once your return is received at our facility, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5 business days.

Holiday note: For orders placed between December 24 and December 31, 2026, we extend our return window to 70 days.


Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of purchase. After this window, our production process begins and we’re unable to cancel — but you can use our standard 60-day return process once your item arrives.
